Some of these moments are big milestones while others are more intimate – the smile on my children’s faces as they share an inside joke or the peacefulness of my dog lying in front of the fireplace on a winter night.
I was born and raised in west Michigan and moved to Metro Detroit as a college student. I find my Zen in hiking and taking in the beauty of all four seasons. I love travel, watching live music & theater, and think that tacos shouldn't be limited to Tuesdays! I am a big sports fan and especially love our Detroit sports teams!
I love to laugh, spend time with friends and family, and try to make life’s moments special, comfortable and fun for everyone around me. My goal is to make you smile and have fun while capturing your special moments and working together to create photos that reflect your style and personality. Life as the mom of grown sons is beautiful and difficult! Seeing them grow and flourish as young adults who are pursuing their dreams is the best feeling - but is it crazy that I miss all the noise and dirty socks? Seeing how fast 18 years flew by just reinforces how important it is to capture those childhood years on camera. At least I have my pup at home to give me a loving dose of side-eye and judgement!

I would say this trait might be one of my biggest challenges and strengths at the same time. Sure, it might take me 5 minutes to pick the best package of strawberries - but it also allows me to be prepared and ready for every photo session!
I am a chronic overthinker and perfectionist
Although I find their endless enthusiasm and inquisitive expressions incredibly entertaining, dogs help remind me that happiness can be found in the simplest of things. In a world filled with chaos and complexity, the simple wisdom of dogs speaks volumes - live in the moment, take time to relax in the sun, and always save room for treats!
Whenever I see a dog, I narrate what I think they're saying inside my head...I can't help myselF!
I love fall for three reasons. Cider, beautiful colors, and FOOTBALL! Fantasy football is a thrill. I love the challenge and rivalry. I’m aiming for another league victory this year!

I love to travel and explore the world! I’m on a mission to visit all 50 states (16 more to go!) and as many countries as possible.
